RELIGION

Religion with respect

Good night again to whoever is reading this. I come to this place again, but treating a different subject: Religion.

In the world there are different religions, which are chosen by different countries, different cultures and different people. Religion influences the way we live, the way we act and, mainly, whether we like it or not, the morals and ethics that we all share (or at least the general principles for the most part). I'm not, sincerely, of any specific religion, I don't believe in the churches, nor in the speeches, nor in the "representatives" of these like the popes, nuns, etc.. Much less in the bible, but I believe in love and in how a god can influence people to be guided by what is supposed to be the good, not just the individualistic good, a shared good.

I completely respect the religions and believes of others, but I can never understand when they make use of these as an argument to discriminate, murder, judge or wish evil, such as going to "hell", to someone. I don't understand with what power they do it, nor with what right. I know it' s not all religious people who do this, but, like everything else in the world, extremists who take away the right to live in peace from others is something I don't tolerate.

  1. Hi!
I really enjoyed your blog the truth. I completely agree with how unintelligible it is that people use religion or simply their "God" to justify their macho, racist, homophobic, etc. thoughts.
I don't believe in churches either, or anything like that. But I do believe in a God.
Anyway, I hope you have a nice week.
